2021 – A Year In Review
2021 marked four years in my chronic pain struggle. However, it was also the year that brought healing. In May of 2021, I had a blood patch procedure that healed my chronic migraines. I still suffer from periodic migraines, but the day-in day-out, constant pain is gone. Praise Jesus!
Just a few months after being healed from chronic migraines, I came down with Covid. I was in the hospital for 31 days. I was near death, but God saved my life. My hope is that my life continually points back to Him so I can say with Paul, “To live is Christ.”
Despite life’s challenges, I was able to accomplish a whole lot. I authored and contributed to twelve books that came out this year (see below). I wrote over 25 blog posts. Including “He’s My Adonai” and “Praying When it Hurts.” I was featured in my local paper, spoke at a prayer conference, and was a guest on the Joni & Friends podcast. Plus so much more. Looking back, 2021 was an amazing year.

Looking Ahead
So what’s next for me?
I’m working on co-authoring a devotional about the names of God. I’ve become a contributing author at Worth Beyond Rubies. I’ll continue to manage Candidly Christian. And I have several other hopes/dreams for my writing life in 2022.
The anthology I’m working on this year is called Grace Gab. If you’re interested in contributing or would like more information, you can find that here.
